One of my favorite French scenes - sheep grazing on the salt-marshes near Mont Saint-Michel. A few sheep wouldn't have been a big deal, but as we neared the bay we passed this field where I estimated some 10,000 sheep were out grazing. What you see here is just one small frame from a 180-degree panoramic view.

As it turns out, these are pretty special sheep, known as agneau de pré-salé (salt meadow lamb). Their meat has a very distinctive flavor and tenderness, which we were able to sample at our dinner on the Mont.

"Great location easy walking distance of town. Short drive to all the sites! Dol de Bretagne is a great place to stay if you want to be away from masses of tourists, but able to easily travel to see the sites! "

The units are a bit cramped with very narrow stairs leading up to the bedrooms. The toilet is downstairs, while the bedrooms and showers are upstairs.
