"This is a lovely house in a very quiet little village. It is a little difficult to get to and very remote. There was no option for any kind of food or dining. The only cafe in this tiny town was closed except weekends. We did stay in the off season, so not sure what the situation would be in the summer. The nearest option for a market or dining was a 30 minute drive on very narrow winding roads. We still enjoyed or stay. The views of the local area are lovely. The village sits high up and is surrounded by hills and vineyards. Not all of the views in the photos of the property are from the house. Some are taken from a short walk from the house. It was very quiet. We never saw more than four or five other people in the village when we walked about exploring. We very much enjoyed the stay."

"We had a great stay in this nice, period house in Mombaldone. Lots of space inside and outside, with a nice pool area which was used a lot. The house/garden has lots of potential but could do with a little freshening up. Great communication with Madeline the owner."

"Beautiful house, great pool and great location. The property is huge and great for morning walks with the dog. One note is that we stayed for a month and had to clean the pool ourselves and pay extra for weekly cleaning of the house. "
