"Lovely traditional hotel and inn. Staff very obliging and professional. The room wasn't the largest but very comfortable. Would recommend it if you're visiting the area. Holmfirth is also very quaint and easy to wander around with a good mixture of shops and pubs."

"First stay here for a party in Brighouse. Superb welcome from staff on arrival and shown to our room. Accommodation is across the road from the pub and events so nice and quiet and a great space at the front of the building for a evening drink. Very interesting range of ales and other drinks in the pub and an excellent breakfast. Good size room with large bed, plenty of tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits. Good breakfast supplied. Shower a bit dated, but clean with plenty of hot water. Spacious car park.
