I stayed for a little over a week at Island Bliss and it was a pleasure. It is incredibly clean, and you are provided with fresh towels every 2 days and more upon request. Each room is cleaned daily, and each bed comes with a spacious locker/closet. There is a free parking lot a 2 minute walk from the hostel which is very convenient for travellers renting a car for the duration of their stay. There are many restaurants, bars, and coffee shops/cafes within walking distance. What was the most special and will make you feel right at home is that Tiago will remember you by your name and is incredibly kind and accommodating. I had a great experience staying here and will book my stay here again if I ever come back to Ponta Delgada.

We had a great stay at Island Bliss. Super good location, had all the amenities, staff was extremely helpful for where to visit and car rental recommendations. Also free parking lot down the street. Would highly recommend.

We had an amazing 2 week stay at Island Bliss. It is really well maintained hostel, if it can even be called that. It felt more like a hotel! The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you can think of. The room & bathroom are cleaned daily making for a very comfortable stay. Very central & free parking lot nearby. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Sao Miguel!

This is my first experience in a hostel and I very much enjoyed my time. They cleaned the room every day and gave us new towels, which was a really nice park. I didn’t realize that I would have the stuff was friendly and helpful and it was in an amazing location close to everything!

Upon our arrival, the front desk was really welcoming and explained everything about the full shared kitchen. If you want to do your own meal, I have my flight the next afternoon, and I was wondering about my luggage. They offered to keep my luggage in a safe place, and I could explore around and pick it up after that. was really generous of them. The location is exceptionally close to a bakery and a small grocery store, and an 8-minute walk from the shopping centre (even Google Maps said 16min). I really recommend it, if you like hostels, and the staff are really friendly and helpful with my questions and concerns.

今まで泊まったホステルの中で一番良かったです。 キッチン設備がとても充実していて、料理をしたくなるような快適な環境でした。タオルも定期的に交換してもらえたのがありがたく、さらに外出用のタオルまで用意されていて細やかな気配りを感じました。 館内はいつも清潔で、掃除も隅々まで行き届いていました。同じ部屋になった人とも「この値段でこんなに素晴らしいホステルに泊まれるなんて」と話すほど感動しました。 立地や設備、清潔さ、スタッフの配慮など、どれをとっても大満足です。またこの街を訪れることがあれば、ぜひ利用したいと思います。

Sehr schöne, saubere Unterkunft mit großen Zimmern sowie großer, moderner Küche und Utensilien. Die Lage ist sehr gut und vieles ist Fußläufig schnell zu erreichen, ein kleiner Supermarkt ist direkt um die Ecke. Die Parkplätze an der Straße vor der Unterkunft sind kostenpflichtig, es gibt aber einen großen und kostenfreien Parkplatz ca. 500m von der Unterkunft entfernt. Der Inhaber ist super nett und kann viele Tipps für Ausflüge usw. geben. Gerne wieder!

El recepcionista fue amabilísimo, nos enseñó las instalaciones y propuso actividades que hacer en la isla. Estuvimos solo una noche (de paso) pero es un lugar donde me podría alojar más tiempo. La habitación (nº1) y el cuarto de baño eran amplísimos y muy limpios, la cama muy cómoda y grande. El comedor-cocina compartidos muy bien equipados, todo súper nuevo y moderno. ¡Lo recomiendo 100%!
