"Claudette gets top marks for responsiveness and helpfulness. The cottage is deep in the countryside with beautiful walls in the fields and woods all around. We made friends with the cows, the crickets and birds. Exactly what we needed from our holiday. The little village which it’s close to has a friendly cafe and the closest town, Cluny, is one of the most charming and authentic little Burgandy towns I’ve visited. "We took advantage of the good situation of the house to explore the beautiful surrounding by foot and see all the culturally rich landmarks in the vicinity. The children loved the garden and the nearby brooks to play at. The whole setting of this place is even more picturesque than you can see from the photos. What's more, the owners of the place are the most friendly people you can imagine."

"Well equipped, tastefully decorated, comfortable. Plenty of storage for cases and accessories. Beds very comfortable, great shower! Good secluded patio area with plenty of seating and the benefit of a small pool. Off road, safe and secure parking. Good WiFi. Area excellent for touring the Beaujolais region with great local road connectivity. Our warm and friendly hosts were more than generous leaving wine and basic provisions for a few breakfasts. "A little gem in the quiet village of l’Abergement de Cuisery, 5 minutes from the historical center of Tournus and the wine villages of Southern Burgundy. Absolutely no noise other than birds, a private entrance to the dwelling and a motorized gate to access the parking area. Great place to stay!"

"Wij verbleven in "het huis". De eigenaars waren erg prettig met een goed gevoel voor toenadering en distantie. Het huis, goed geequipeerd en met buitenterras, staat aan de rand van een klein dorp en het is daarmee heerlijk rustig vertoeven op deze lokatie. Wij hebben veel en goed kunnen fietsen in deze regio door o.a. gebruik te maken van de nabij gelegen "voie verte"."

"Belle propriété, de superbes installations MAIS propriétaire trop présent : il s'est permis d'entrer dans la villa sans raison quand bon lui semblait que l'on soit là ou non, plusieurs fois par jour, pour observer tous nos faits et gestes. Il y a un gardien qui lui est très discret et c'est son travail de s'occuper de la villa (fleurs, piscine, ..). Pour le jacuzzi, aucune explication claire et si on se trompe on est privé de jacuzzi (fermeture inopinée de la porte malgré qu'on le paye). À part...

"We parked our motorbike outside our room on the ground floor. Nice spacious room, but we had to run the bath tap for 10 mins to clear out the black grunge. Bathroom was good size also. We dined there and breakfasted. The bill was all mixed up, I think we overpaid slightly."
