"As this was a budget hotel we expected the facilities to be lacking. However we did expect cleanliness, we found what looked lie pubic hairs in the shower and next to the sink and the toilet had not been cleaned properly there were Brown marks left by someone’s recent trip to the loo. Ok for a nights stay if you’re driving through or just need to crash for the night. Mc Donald’s in walking distance if you need a warm drink in the morning. "

"Comfortable bed and good shower which was what is needed as a stop over on a long drive south. Room 42 was around the back and quiet. Location was very convenient for the motorway although not much else around. The hotel did have a restaurant which only served pizzas (very tasty) although we did notice a pzza delivering to one of the other rooms on our way back to the room. Nice touch having tea/coffee facilites in the room. Free secure parking."

"Lovely quirky hotel! We had a nice room with table and chairs so, whilst no food was on offer, we were able to go to the nearby supermarket for supplies, and have a little picnic in the room after a long journey. The bed was comfortable and, despite our initial concerns, there was no noise from the nearby busy roads. The hotel provided an excellent breakfast included in the price. A great stay and excellent value for money!"
