It’s rare to come across such dedicated and thoughtful staff, and they truly represent the high standard of hospitality at this hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning views, comfortable rooms, and a relaxing atmosphere that made it hard to leave. Every part of our visit felt well thought out and seamless. "The room has a beautiful view of the ocean and Mount Etna. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and went the extra mile to help us. The swimming pool by the ocean is beautiful, though the water temperature in April was too cold to swim in. Buffet breakfast included a large variety of foods. The property seems a bit aged but we are 100% satisfied with the cleanliness of our room. "

"Staff were very helpful and welcoming. We arrived late and they helped us to park our car temporarily in a tight spot outside the hotel until the valet could come and pick it up in the morning. Excellent breakfast. Great location with a short walk to the historic centre. Bed was very comfortable. Our room window looked out on a rock wall with plants and so was a bit dark."

"Staff were amazing. Helpful, friendly, The room was beautiful, the pool lovely. Unfortunately, the water was shut off for all of our last night (no warning) . Still no water in the morning - no shower- no face wash. Staff said it was the city. I think they should have adjusted our bill to somehow compensate for this major inconvenience. "

"I'm used to 3 star hotels. This hotel is truly 4 star. The cleanliness, the staff and our very affordable ocean view suite with spectacular views of Mt. Etna, the Straits of Messina, and sunsets was wonderful. The robes and slippers is a nice perk. The hotel location is a few minutes walk to the high speed ferry to Messina, Sicily and a few minutes walk to the Lido train station. The hotel is convenient to the Lungomare waterfront and the famous Archeological Museum as well as several art galleries and shopping. All less than 10 minutes away by walking. Bocconissimo, the fabulous hotel restaurant, is open for a full buffet breakfast 7-10 am and dinner from 7:30-10 pm with a spectacular menu from delicious pizza to scrumptious pasta dishes, all with no salt and pepper needed, like some restaurants in Italy I've experienced. The downside to this hotel is the surroundings which were devastated by storm Harry in January. The city is working hard to restore the waterfront. However,don't miss this one!!!"

"Would not hesitate to stay here again. Not directly on the beach, but only a very short walk. I received a lovely warm welcome, and the room was just lovely. It had a very nicely furnished balcony, and a slight view of the ocean. The room and bathroom were extremely clean. I had a small refrigerator, and a room safe. There was also a dryer and the basic bath soaps etc provided. The bed was comfortable, the only thing being that it seems that they use a plastic bed cover to protect their mattresses under their sheets, and that felt a bit uncomfortable, but really glad they use one! The linens were very nice....nice thick bath towels. I did not partake in the breakfasts during my stay, but I did see the buffet, and it looked like they provided a very nice continental breakfast. Everyone there was so friendly and nice. No question or request was left unaddressed. A perfect stay!"
