"Old and tired hotel. They did some updating it was masking the age and overall condition. It needs a full renovation. "

"Beautiful and very new hotel and hotel rooms. The hotel rooms were huge very spacious. Breakfast was delicious and easy easy check in and check out will stay again if in the area."

"Beautiful hotel. Smells brand new. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. The restaurant and bar were top notch. Delicious food (the pasta was so fresh) and one of the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had. Our room was super spacious and well stocked with anything we could have wanted. The gym was also beautiful and had so many available workout options. If we are ever back in New Haven we would definitely choose The Blake. "

Said that they had run my card before I even got there and that it declined, which it actually didn’t, my credit card company froze my card because I thought it was fraudulent, so they canceled my reservation. "It's a nice place to stay the only issue is parents who DON'T Watch their children, the run through the place with wet clothes from the pool and make it dangerous on the wet surfaces. Don't stay on the pool floor unles you have kids"

"Did not eat at establishment. Elevator area (lobby) has a stale odor. Room appeared to be clean however the Comforter appeared dirty. Sheets were questionable. Bathroom had hair in the sink and shower. I went out and bought supplies and cleaned the room. Stayed there due to daily radiation therapy at Yale. Staff was friendly, no noise so I overlooked the issues. "
