"The gite was simply wonderful. From the moment we arrived Serge and Beatrice made us so welcome. Everything we could need was thought of and the gite was immaculate - the pool area in particular felt like a slice of paradise. We explored the local area, sampled food and wine from the markets and restaurants - the area, from the vineyards to the beautiful villages, is just stunning and the gite a perfect place from which to explore. A wonderful holiday was had by the whole family. Thank you Serge and Beatrice! "

"This hotel was in a great position to walk down to Bergerac and look around the many lovely shops and restaurants it has to offer. The room was modern and the bed was comfortable. The air con worked well in the room and there was a kettle. The only negative was that the tea bags/sugar weren’t replaced and there was no milk left. The receptionist we had for the weekend we were there (August 22-25th) was outstanding! She was very helpful, had excellent english and couldnt do more for you. As well as that she always had a smile and a hello for you when you entered or exited the building. Overall i would recommend this hotel and would go again if i was staying in Bergerac. "

"Booked a room for seven nights, but checked out after the first night. It was incredibly hot that week, around 105 degrees. The room had no air conditioning, or fans. The windows could not be open during the evening because there were no screens in the windows and with the mosquitoes and bats flying around that was not an option. It was cooler outside than in the room. When I decided to check out the following day the staff were apologetic, but there was nothing they could do. The resort, as of now has not offered a refund for the remaining six nights."
