"This was the perfect place to explore the national park without a car. We took the passenger ferry to the island and it was less than a 2 minute walk to the apartment. There is a good restaurant just two doors down and a small market very close. The trail to the lakes is just behind the house and you can also walk or bike (rent at the ferry terminal) to the WWII tunnel, which was cool. The apartment is close to others but feels private.
