"Comfortable room with great shower and deep bath. Room could be better with a coffee machine as Nescafé instant coffee isn’t great. Bed was very comfy and room quiet. We enjoyed our brief stay. Hotel lounge area has bulky chairs that aren’t really very comfortable and they clutter up the room! "

"The property was clean and pre-warmed for our arrival. Check in was effortless and quick although no direction was given for return of keys if departing early. The bed was extremely comfortable A downside was the difficulty in accessing the designated car park; it is too small for medium/large SUVs."

"Merry Moose is a great place to stay for a few days in the Clare Valley. Modern amenities, wood fire and all the provisions you could want, and really well located between the local settlements and wineries.Traffic noise from the adjacent main road was the only downside which might affect some, but otherwise highly recommended."

"The whole stay was amazing, the spa, fireplace, private courtyard, the comfy bed and the supplies for breakfast. It was very affordable, close to Clare to visit the wineries and grab some lunch. We will definitely be going back, the perfect retreat without the kids!!!"

"We loved staying at the wild olive cottage. We went to celebrate my 40th birthday. The owners left a lovely card and birthday treats. Yummy breakfast and a lovely bottle of wine.. we kept warm by the fire. And will definitely return and recommend to friends. Can’t thank the wild olive cottage crew enough. X"
