The steps were a little slow going for my 79 year old mom but it was doable and the restaurants and grocery stores right around the corner made it super easy to get whatever you might need the metro was close as well as the ruins and museums. Would definitely stay there again."

"We stayed in Martina’s apartment in Monti for 5 days following our cruise. We visited Rome 2 yrs ago and wanted to return to spend more time, so we knew the exact area where we wanted as a home base. This apartment was perfect as we did most of our touring on foot, & it’s close to most major sites. It’s also a short walk to the Roma Termini station which was terrific as we did a day trip to Pompei & being near to the train station was ideal.
