"Personal, friendly and welcoming staff. Our unit was spacious and private but needed screens in our windows. No air conditioning, so the need of fans and windows opened were necessary. Shuttle service to and from the airport need to be listed as an amenity for the property. The road to the property is precarious to say the least, and taxi cabs do not want to go the last 1/4 mile. "Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Being so...

"Our family of 5- 20 something grown kids- all scuba divers. We love adventure travel- especially to SCUBA Dive.... and this trip was it.Pinard Mountain Village will pick you up at the airport if you want. If not... Make sure you have a car with clearance... the road up can wash out and has some challenges.They can cook meals for you. Close to Diving.Close to water falls and hot springs.Awesome views."

"The property is nestled away on the country side of the island. We stayed in the honeymoon suite only steps away from the ocean . The pool is made of stones and is refreshing , especially with a cocktail. We scheduled a couples massage with hot rocks and let the stress of the World melt away . What a lovely retreat with Nature ! We will be back soon!"

"Amazing location and view. We were very impressed with the property. Staff were fantastic. Breakfast was great. Our room ws clean and comfortable. It is a bit off the beaten track, and the road to get up there is rough so if taking a taxi, make sure the taxi includes the drive all the way up there. We heard that some drop you off on the main road, and it would be quite the hike, especially with bags. "

"This is in an idyllic forest setting. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fun and tasty. There is parking outside and across the road. WiFi is great. It's the opposite of quiet but the noises are rainforest sounds and cattle, which is restful in a different way. The rooms are pretty basic and a little tired but have everything you need. It's convenient for the airport and river but there is no hiking near to the property. "
