"This house was perfect for our family trip. The house was meticulous, clean, well organized, and had everything we needed to make our family vacation a blast. It was on its own private beach on Lake Michigan, beautiful sunset and sunrises lots of wildlife to be seen and only 10 to 15 minutes away from the port to Mackinaw. We felt like we were staying at a friends house as the host was extremely considerate to his guests, having very nice soaps, shampoos, and even left us a festive table...

"We appreciated this place and its availability and welcoming of pets. Just wanted to say that someone else's dog is going to the bathroom in the yard (which we cleaned up too), there were dirty dishes in the cupboards, and the water reservoir on the coffeemaker was very dirty. We cleaned that out too. So some attention to detail is needed but I would go back!"

"Overall we greatly enjoyed our time here. However, there were a few issues. First, the freezer melted our ice cream. Second, we were basically told "good luck" about using the oven, which would have been nice to know before we bought groceries. Third, the heat had already been turned off for the season and it was COLD at night. Thankfully some of the beds had heaters, which was great. The fireplace downstairs is just for looks/ambience. It provided no heat to the room when on. There were only 3...

"2 bedroom cabin right on the water. Very clean and cozy. House comes with nice furniture, new applances, TVs and comfortanle beds. Each room has a great view over the lake. House has 2 kayaks, hot tub, boat access, fire pit. Hiking and biking trail access. House is pet friendly and owner very nice and helpful. Lots of information on sightseeing and restaurants. Will definitively come again to this wonderful cabin."
