"Made plans with friends to come in for the Pawpaw Festival and like to stay at unique places. I mean who wouldn't want to stay on a Houseboat?! It was clean, cozy, and more. I didn't realize when booking the area was secluded and it was sure a welcoming surprise along with the cows serenading us while drinking our morning coffee. We didn't get a chance to explore the property, but did really enjoy the stars at night. I will defiantly be coming back with my husband to enjoy more of what this place has to offer. Absolutely amazing views and fun place to stay. "

"The moment we pulled down the driveway and saw the pond and land, we knew we made the right choice. Went inside to fine a very nice house with eggs and bottled water in fridge, snacks, ice in the freezer, and much more. Bug spray was available outside. Hummingbirds swarmed at the porch feeders and were comical to watch. We would sit on the porch and watch them. We saw deer and ducks and turkeys and squirrels and chickens. The hosts had outdoor games and plenty of boats in top condition. We didn't have much luck fishing but had fun anyway. The host let us know they were available if we needed anything, but they had things set up so well, we never needed a thing. Plenty of firewood was available and the grill was a nice one. I highly recommend this, and my daughter and grandson said the same. We will return someday."

"This small family run hotel is an excellent place to stay in the Ripley/point pleasant/Charleston area. Our suite was big, clean, and comfy. The extra blanket and pillow was a nice touch. It was great to have a full size frig, sink, utensils in the drawers. The area was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was huge with a heated fan. The staff were excellent, and maid service was wonderful(done daily!) "
