"Short trip to see Mt Vernon. Hotel was one of the close drive to property. Staff was nice and recommended a place for dinner. Property was quiet. Breakfast was good. Our AC unit didn’t cool, but we were wore out and finally got to sleep. Would stay again. "

"Desk clerk was AWFUL...he accused me of having 2 extra rooms that did not match my reservation and threatened that I would need to pay for the other 2 rooms. I even had a rep from Hotels.com call the desk and he refused to provide proof of the 2 extra rooms. he had me so upset that I was paying for 2 extra rooms. My husband went to desk and he got an apology for upsetting me but no apology to me"

"Hair dryer broken warm not blowing and burned my hair, second room the same, No dish washer liquid, no salt and pepper. "

"Non-smoking room that smelled strongly of cigarettes, had burn marks on the bed and walls. Bed sheets were stained and had holes, when we complained and asked for new sheets were told "sometimes the sheets just look like that". Parking lot had groups of people gathering and what appeared to be drug deals going on, made us as a family a little uncomfortable but then the doors would not close and lock which became a major safety concern. Most of the staff we interacted with were friendly but not very helpful. This experience was so terrible we just canceled/checked out and went to a different hotel, was immensely disappointed and very confused about all these positive reviews. When we checked into the other hotel the clerk mentioned they had stayed there when they first moved to town and suffered from bed bugs and also had to check out early."
