It is remote, which adds to the charm, but just a heads-up: if you need anything like Advil or small essentials, the nearest town is about 20 minutes away on a dirt road. "I LOVE this resort. I’ve stayed all three times I’ve visited Italy. The room was beautiful and had a view of the Tuscan hills, the village and the golf course. The hotel staff was fabulous, the breakfast is wonderful. The restaurant menu is limited, but the food has always been wonderful. I’ve never seen any US tourists, but lots of Italians. "
