"This is a fantastic and convenient venue in a beautiful village. We stayed there whilst visiting national trust properties and it was the perfect location for our needs. The staff were so welcoming and really made our stay perfect. The evening meal and continental breakfast was outstanding. A well furnished and warm room.A recommended place to stay."

"Breakfast was excellent with friendly and efficient staff. Between midnight and 3:00am there was a great deal of drunken singing in the street. One of the revellers tapped on my bedroom window. Perhaps this was a one time event(England vs Norway.). It wasn’t really a problem for me, but my wife, had she been there with me, would have felt threatened by this. The lack of night security should be remedied."

"Good location for strolling around Langport with its cafes,independent shops , gardens and river walks . The library is very close with an outdoors area . We had a room in the courtyard , good in the heatwave . Sometimes had to park further away in town car park ..still free ,though in autumn 2026 may have to pay . Staff helpful ."
