The staff was great and helpful to us in every way. We will definitely choose American in Lake City, Minnesota again!"

"Had the kind bed room with sleeper sofa! Didn’t have any bed sheets or pillows for the sleeper sofa. Went downstairs to all for blankets and pillows and was told he would have to find some. Eventually he brought us blankets but said there were no pillows. The hotel was not very clean and kind of smelled musty! Breakfast was decent."

"the breakfast not worth the walk down to the lobby. toileties in the bathroom were marginal. staff was hard to find. in our first room, the TV did not work so had to move to another room. no coffee pot in the room. I would have expected more for a room that cost $160/night"

"Stayed 1 night didn't get to enjoy any attractions as we arrived shortly before 8pm and checkout is 11. Pool pass conveniently works when it opens again at 10am. No breakfast . Didn't get my deposit back"
