First the good things - the house is spacious with plenty of room for a large family, the swimming pool is of a high quality and also of a good size, the people of Meslan (notably the baker, the pharmacist and the bar-keeper) were absolutely lovely and among the friendliest people that we have ever met in France. The less good things - Splinters, the deck around the pool is not well maintained and I pulled perhaps 20 splinters from our 3 kids feet over the 3 weeks...

"Very warm and friendly welcome from the owners, with a nice bottle of local cider and some biscuits to help us recover from the long journey. They also coped with my basic French! Information on the property and the surrounding area was clear and useful. Very close to Pontivy where there are hypermarkets, shops etc. Also next to the amazing cycle path on the river - great for walks and easy cycling. "Wir hatten das Ferienhaus für 2 Wochen gemietet. Sehr gepflegtes Hau sin typischem bretonischen Stil. Unsere Ansprechpartnerin Valérie hat uns alle Fragen beantwortet und war jederzeit für uns ansprechbar. Auch die Hausbesitzer, die im Nachbarhaus wohnen waren sehr net und hiflsbereit (z.B. haben wir nach einem weiträumigen Internetausfall dessen Reparatur länger dauerte direkt eine AirBox erhalten). Das grundstück ist sehr nett angelegt. garten und Pool können unkompliziert mitbenutzt werden....

"Randonnée vélo le long du canal NANTES -BREST et du BLAVET ainsi que dans la campagne environnante puis étape à KERGRIST 56. Excellent accueil de part du propriétaire de la "Maison de ville" et à l'écoute pour rendre le séjour encore plus agréable. A ceci s'ajoute une remarquable qualité de logement, rénové et décoré avec goût. Je le recommande vivement et en ferai écho autour de moi. Un grand merci !"

"Have stayed here before and would stay again. However, I hadn’t realised it’s three hotels in one, last time I was in the main hotel, this time I was in a studio round the back. Not an issue just hadn’t realised. Breakfast pretty basic stuff but ok and meets the need. Dinner in restaurant very good. "
