"We were first offered an upstairs apartment but I explained my condition and was immediately offered a beautiful ground floor flat with all amenities We didn’t use them except the kettle and the shower was great The sitting area and bedroom was a lot better than expected All in all fully recommended for short or long stay. "Well kept, comfortable room in the center of town with walking access to the best Detmold has to offer. Be warned. It’s an old city, so parking may be a couple blocks away. And there is no elevator. Otherwise, perfect."
