We were hoping to pack some sandwiches from the grocery store before our hike along the Skyline trail, but there wasn't anyplace to do that. The beach is scenic but rocky. The Rusty Anchor was nice for dinner.

"The property was very well maintained. A little surprised at the small size. Not good for someone traveling for 3 weeks with lots of stuff. Needed more storage as there was a lot of clutter and not much space to put your own things. Weather and fire ban didn't help as we couldn't enjoy at that the ..."

Most remote area on Cape Breton for overnight stays or restaurants. Very small. Just the nature of being so far north on the Cabot Trail.
