If you are looking for a regular hotel experience then this is not for you, however if you want a true home away from home experience with the local Tico family then you cannot go wrong with this option. Edward the reservations lead is always present and the kitchen is run by his mom and sister. The dad is the wealth of knowledge about local area and the uncle is the gardener. The abundant fruit trees was a pleasant surprise and so was the close proximity of the Macaws.

Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay. We are a family of 4 with 2 boys ages 12 and 10. The lodge and screen walled cabins provide a nice setting with wonderful creatures and sounds all around.
