"We recently spent 8 nights at the Grand Riviera Princess. The property was beautiful, The majority of the staff was so polite and welcoming that you honestly felt like you were on a carefree holiday. Anabel from the Concierge service was a life saver and made the trip very special. My kids (12-15) loved the water park, activity pool, and the beach. We all loved the fact that this is such a family friendly resort and that there were so many other kids for them to meet and hang out with during the course of the trip.
The only think I could ask for would have been a few more bartenders spread throughout the resort. I know that they were only at about 60% capacity while we were there but they felt a bit short staffed. Everyone did their best to keep up and it didn't impact the trip at all but I felt bad for the staff that was doing all they could to keep up. Cruz and Fernando at the Activity Pool swim up bar were amazing.
I would have given the resort 5 stars but there was one issue. Actually, it is my only real complaint about the resort, Jonathan from the Concierge desk. He was very rude and not the least bit helpful. As someone that works in a service based industry it is honestly surprising to me that someone like him could have a job in a client/customer facing role. He has no business being around guests with his poor attitude.
Other than Jonathan it was a great trip and a great place to spend our vacation."
