"Staff was really nice "

"We just needed a room for the night and we got a great deal here. You never know what to expect from little motels but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very quick and efficient. The room had everything we needed including a TV, nice bed, and a refrigerator. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. This is a no frills place. No coffee, no breakfast, just a simple place to rest. It's right next to a gas station, a couple restaurants, and a block or two from downtown Le Sueur which was beautiful. It's a small town so anything else is within a few minutes drive. The only thing I was bummed about was the ice machine wasn't running but overall we enjoyed our stay very much. The best part was the air conditioner in the room. It was almost 100°F the day we arrived and our AC was already on when we checked into our room. It was a welcomed respite from the heat for sure. Overall, if you need a place for the night and don't need anything fancy this is a great deal. We will stay here again if we are ever back in the area. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at The Heron House! The communication and check in/out instructions were simple and easy. The home was fully stocked with just what we needed, and included games and books which our kids loved! Elevated vintage is the perfect way to describe the home — it’s so warm and cozy. We loved the walkability to downtown Victoria for morning coffees, dinners, and ice cream. We will absolutely be back!"

"Can tell one side of the bed nearest the door was the “popular” choice for times the room was occupied with only one person in that specific bed. Like rolling off a cliff from supportive to awful."
