"The location was great, directly at the harbour with lots of restaurants around. You could park directly at the street in front of the hotel for free. Staff was nice and the pool area was clean and with a great view."

"The hotel is is a fabulous location with a mini bus to the beach with a very helpful driver and excellent service unfortunately you need your own transport to be able to explore the rest of the island due to the location. We was aware of this when booking as has stayed previously but for some this could be a problem. "We last stayed at the magnolia back in 2011 when it was newly opened and loved it. We dont make a habit of staying at places er have already been but we came back again this and its still as beautiful as er remembered This this time we had a room om the third floor where we could see the sea in the distance to the left and gorgeous mountains to the right. "Presents like a 5 star hotel but delivered like a 3 star. Positives were rooms were very spacious and upgraded to a ground flr room with a great size plunge pool. Negatives- both managers lacked any type of customer service charm, no bell man to help with bags, cheap finishes from flooring to tiles to toilets which were always clogged or running. Weeds growing in the floorboards all around the pool, place is definitely put together and operated on a shoestring budget - not sure how they get away...
