I enjoyed hanging out by the pool, relaxing and having their yummy snacks. It was a great stay with excellent service. The park nearby was also a great place to walk in the early evenings. "

"We highly recommend this hotel. We received such a warm welcome on arrival; the staff even helped us take our luggage up to our room. The breakfast area downstairs was beautiful and scenic, partially indoors and outside and the lady and guy that served us each day were so very friendly and helpful. When we saw our room for the first time we were in awe; there was a small entry hall (lounge/ tv room) which led into the large bedroom with plenty of storage, with a large bathroom and shower and there was even access to our own private verandah on the roof with a view of rooftops and churches (the famous church of gold, a stones throw away). The room was cleaned each day with beautiful precision and care, and even if we're still in the room they would call us to ask if we wanted our room cleaned. Last but by no means least, we must pay tribute to the front of house team, each and every one of them was so warm and polite and helpful, wishing us good morning or good night each time, giving us directions with such patience and always with a smile on their face. In particular we want to give huge praise to the lady in the white dress with curly hair who worked the day shift and Jeff who worked nights. We will definitely be back."

"Beautiful rooms and lovely staff with plenty of space. I would not recommend for families and the Pelourinho área can be unsafe in areas despite the amount of police officers patrolling the area. In our experience they are there to be shown and not to act. Nevertheless if you come during carnival this would be a prime spot."

"Charming hotel with very attentive and caring staff, located in the historic district of Salvador, Bahia. We were able to walk to do much of our sightseeing, shopping and dining. In the evening we enjoyed swimming in the rooftop pool with the magnificent view and watching the sunset."
