"Quite location and nicely maintained house. My family enjoyed the stay in the vacation home. The house is clean and huge. Kitchen is well equipped with utensils and cooking needs. My kids really liked the bonus room and spent a lot of time watching Netflix when we weren't out to the park. Driving to the provincial park is convenient and we spent days in the park and nights in the house. Ruth, the host, is really nice and easy to communicate to. We left our sous vide cooker in the house and Ruth brought it back to us to Edmonton. Overall, 5 stars for the house and host. It's our yearly camping destination with other 3 families and we will definitely consider renting the house again if we don't stay in the park lake cabin. Well worth the month renting the big house than staying in Ramada hotel in Lac La Biche."

"The place was fine. Really no complaints except for the work crew that had parties outside every night. Booze, weed, barbecue, music, yelling...it was a real shindig 😆 but I was there for work and the money I saved wasn't worth the lack of sleep when I wanted to go to sleep at 9pm and not 11:30 pm"

"It’s maybe a small thing to some but it was a big thing for us; there were no straws. The beds were comfortable and room was clean. There is a lot of light in the rooms due to the tvs having some sort of backlighting that is on even when the tv is turned off. I’d stay here again, but would make a plan to deal with the light and bring our own straws. The room had appliances though we only used the fridge. It didn’t freeze our food so was better than the average hotel fridge. Overall happy with our stay aside from the bright room that woke me up in the night and lack of straws. "
