"it was a pleasant stay. great pool. probelm with kitchen tap was fixed staight away. There was mould in bathtub / shower, which should be cleaned up. Parking close to your unit was hit or miss, plus very small turning area if unable to park close."

"Peaceful, calming location in a small town on the side of a hill. Just what I needed to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the southern Rhone Valley. We will return to this place again. Merci Beaucoup."

"The location of this gite is perfect. Gorgeous view of Mt. Ventoux and close to restaurants, bakeries, groceries, and, of course, local activities like wineries, hiking, biking. The gite itself was nice and Jean Luc the host was pleasant and responsive. The biggest frustration was a very fussy shower faucet which made it virtually impossible to control the temperature between scalding and ice cold. We understand French & European gites can be much more limited on amenities, but it would have been nice to have a starter roll of toilet paper, bath towels, a clean sponge in the kitchen, dish soap, etc. Just some small, basic touches would have gone a long, long way. In fairness, when we asked for something, the host provided it. It just would have been nice to arrive with a few basics already there."

"We were 2 grandparents with our 2 children and their partners plus 4 grandchildren aged 10-16. We had a lovely holiday in this beautiful property with wonderful views. Very well equipped - a minor issue was just five fans for 6 bedrooms. We felt the description didn't do justice to the actual facilities and nearly didn't choose the property as we thought the bathroom arrangements wouldn't meet our requirements. They were actually perfect. One small point - the pool was brilliant and thoroughly enjoyed by the younger members of the family but for the older less mobile members a small step arrangement with handrail would have been helpful. "We have been all over France for three weeks. We have stayed only one or two nights at each lodging, so we have stayed in many different hotels. This was my favorite place to stay. It is very comfortable (beds and air conditioning) and decorated sooooo lovely. The town of Murs was quiet and so worth visiting. The views are wonderful too. We couldn't be happier with our choice to stay here. As an American it is also hard to grasp how long these villages have existed. "

"My experience with VRBO has been horrific. I rented an entire house and garden for a month for my family (and my dog) to relax and visit the surrounding area of Provance. I specifically rented this place because it was advertised as a complete house with a beautiful garden. The pictures of the garden were amazing and I imagined family time and dinners outside. What actually happened was that the owners were living in the basement without our knowledge and the garden turned out to be a mosquito infested hell scape. The first week we were there, my youngest daughter kept waking up terrified because she said she heard someone in the basement. We both thought it was her imagination because she had recently watched a scary movie. We kept smelling cigarette smoke wafting through the house which was weird but we disregarded it thinking maybe it was a neighbor, but again, it didn't make sense but it didn't occur to me that people could be secretly living in the basement. I also kept waking up with asthma, either because of the cigarette smoke or something else in the house. This set a tone of disquiet and a low grade anxiety that affected our visit. One day one of my daughters stayed behind when we went on a trip to a market and she called me to tell me that the owners had come out of the basement and were in the yard.
