"We were a party of 5 young at heart seniors who enjoyed every minute. The accommodation was of a high standard and a lot of thought went into the detail to make our stay 5*. The beds were very comfortable and the ensuites immaculate. The weather at the time was hot and we made use of the lovely pool and aircon. The location was perfect, isolated and quiet, yet only 6km from a delightful village Monpazier. I hope we have the pleasure of returning again. Thank you Sonja & Mark"

"Le Pigeonnier is a very well-thought out holiday home which was extremely comfortable for four families. A very well-equipped kitchen, we loved eating outside, pool and pool area great, lovely garden space for the children, volleyball/table tennis/pool were enjoyed. "We had a great stay at La Maison Ocre. The Gite is a good size and has a nice relaxed feel. The views of the vineyard are lovely and we enjoyed seeing Deer, Hares, Woodpeckers and more. The pool is excellent and this helped us to cool off in the hot weather. There were lots of things to do in the area and Bergerac centre was only a short drive away. "Très belle maison, avec de beaux volumes, parfait pour les amoureux de la campagne ! Nous étions 2 adultes, 5 enfants et 1 chien, 1 semaine en août. La maison conserve bien la fraicheur, et les différentes expositions au soleil permettent d'en profiter toute la journée. Le terrain est très grand, les enfants se sont régalés à observer les chevreuils, voir les poules, et construire des cabanes dans le bois. Jessy est un hôte très prévenant, à l'écoute et très arrangeant. La région est magnifique....

"We stayed for a week and hired both gites for our family. It was utterly perfect in every way - we wanted for nothing. We most enjoyed the privacy of the main pool which overlooks luscious countryside bustling with life and the stunning western sunsets in the cool sky. Sonia and Mark are consumate well experienced hosts who always try to accommodate any requests where possible. We highly recommend this if you wish for an up market break in a beautiful countryside location near all the Beautiful...

"For the price I paid I was VERY Happy with Résidence Lagrange Vacances Le Clos des Vignes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location right next to the park / beach . We ate out most of the time but everything appeared to be within the apartment for those who eat in. Furniture a bit jaded, but again for what I paid for it I can't complain. Would definitely return. "Booking was made easy and any questions answered promptly by the lovely owners, Marie and Michel. A wonderful, very generous welcome gave us all the information we needed. "Fabulous week in the Dordogne based at this property - very rural and quiet but lots of lovely towns and Chateau’s and other things to see and do in the region so you will need a hire car to get around. The Gîte is superbly welcoming and comfortable - has everything you need for your stay. Craig and Caroline are fantastic hosts too, full of great advice beforehand when planning your stay and also on hand if needed while there. If I could 6 stars here I would! "
