It is near food shops, restaurants and a grocery store and is a half-mile to a BART station. UC Berkeley is a short walk or ride away as well as the rest of Berkeley and Oakland. "Great place for a bigger group"

"This place smells bad, of bug spray or mildew. I did not enjoy it. The hot tub area is attractive but faces the street and does not feel private. There were just a host of small things that weren’t quite right, like hair and ants in the bath tub, other small things. I have stayed at other homes that were truly homes, but this one feels run down and used just for hire, like a boarding house rental. While it has a bit of charm here and there, I really did not enjoy the stay. Sorry to say! It...

"This was such a fun place to stay at, with settings all around the property to hangout. The patio area was especially great with various seating areas to enjoy outside. It would be ideal for a summer party place. The family enjoyed it!"

"We spent a weekend in Discovery Bay, this location was excellent. The house was nice and the kitchen was well equipped.We rented a pontoon boat and explored the delta, the proximity to the fast water is great. I can only imagine that getting to fast water from one of the further spots could take 30 minutes so this location being just a few minutes to the lighthouse was very good. "
