"The hotel was amazing and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The pillows in the room were not the best give me a sum what broken sleep but all in all a very good experience. "

"The staff are lovely helpful friendly and efficient.The room was nice however only 1 chair needs a rethink a couple need 2 chairs.My 2 breakfasts were at best disappointing The first scrambled eggs and bacon was inedible the other half's was lovely a full breakfast as was his second My second was slice of bacon and black pudding my intention was to have them in a role Cooked bacon and black pudding arrived consisted of a half slice of bacon and half slice of poor quality overcooked black pudding The rolls inedible.You have a lovely hotel not the cheapest but good value staff front of house lovely quality of breakfast needs looking at."

"Handy for the railway station. Easy access to the city centre and pubs and restaurants. Hotel itself is traditional Station type hotel, but the room I had was huge and had been refurbished. Great value. The only downside for some is that, though this area has been hugely regenerated in recent years and there are several hotel chains and restaurants nearby, it is not the prettiest part of Aberdeen to walk around in, particularly later at night."

"The Highland Hotel (now merged with the Brentwood Hotel next door) is on Crown Street, less than ten minutes walk from Aberdeen bus and train station. It is just off Union Street which is the main central street in Aberdeen (the equivalent of Princes Street, Edinburgh - sort of!). We stayed for 3 days, breakfast included. The room, towels, and bed linen were spotless. But the whole hotel is 'tired'. There is no lift, but the reception man will carry up the cases for you. Usual tea and biscuits in the room. hairdryer, iron and board. and case stand. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, kind and cheerful. Responsive to any requests. The breakfasts were as good as in any hotel.(could be hotter at times) And they need a newer, quicker, toaster! The hotel is an excellent centre for travel in the Aberdeen area. Since 2 hotels have merged the room numbers are similar, so ensure which of the 2 hotels you are booked in at. "
