"We loved the house but it’s not for anyone with even slightly impaired walking, balance, or ability to climb stairs. The house is very old, but updated wonderfully. However we never saw any pool. I would definitely return to this house."

The rooms are all large and airy and, importantly, every window has a mosquito screen. The beds are big, comfortable with nice quality linen and each bedroom has more than adequate storage. "We had a lovely couple of weeks at Jacopo’s house. The house has been beautifully restored and set in an olive grove and vineyards. The house is relatively remote but within easy 10mins drive to towns. A car is essential for a stay at this property. Jacopo was a great host and readily available if we needed him, and gave great tips and advice vice on places to visit. We would definitely recommend and stay again in the future. "

"We had an awesome stay at the villa bella toscana. The property is quiet big with a beautiful pool area, a small fitness room and enough space to enjoy yourself outside in sun. The house was clean and cosy. The big kitchen offers a great place to cook together or play boardgames at the table. Outside there is also a big covered table to have marvelous dinners with up to 10 people, even if it's raining. The villa is near the center of this small town, so you can visit the weekly market by foot...

"I can’t say enough positive things about this property!! Fully stocked on arrival, I mean FULLY stocked. Great location with many restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. You can drive or catch a train or bus to Florence (50 minutes) or Pisa an Lucca (25 minutes) The host was super communicative with travel and restaurant recommendations. It was perfect for me and my wife!! Very highly recommended!!"

"The villa is small but perfect for a couple. It was immaculately clean. There is a small spiral staircase to the bedrooms. The garden and pool are lovely. There are lots of places to sit, so you can catch sun or shade throughout the day, and the views over the Tuscan hills and down to the lights of Pistoia were magical. The pool is lovely and clean.
