Casa Cruz Verde by Peru Garden Hotels
5/5 Excellent
"The room was very comfortable as well as the bed. I particularly loved the fresh flowers in the bathroom, it’s was a beautiful touch of color. Additionally, Johan spoke excellent English and explained how everything worked in the room in detail, including how long to let the shower run to get hot water (he said 30 seconds but it was more like 60, no biggie). Breakfast, the morning I had it, was tasty as well- they made my eggs to order and accompanied it with bread, butter, jelly and fruit.
A few things we noticed that weren’t huge turn offs but points of note:
1. The heater came really handy in the cooler evening weather but it primarily pointed downward on one side of the bed for a while.
2. We could hear some sort of music/bass until 2am but it didn’t affect our sleep because we had the noise of the heater going.
3. Walking distance to San Pedro’s plaza was excellent.
4. I needed oxygen my first night - it was 8 soles for the nose tube. I had it for 10 minutes and it was super helpful. They’re available 24 hours a day so asking for it at 10:30pm wasn’t trouble.
All in all, I would recommend this place! "
