The Space:
Perfectly located in the heart of downtown Village of Pinehurst and within walking distance of Pinehurst Course #2, the exquisite Tremont Cottage is rich in history and tradition. Just a one-minute walk away, guests can explore a unique combination of cultural, recreational, dining, and shopping experiences. The Tremont Cottage features a private pool with a fenced-in backyard, a gas fire pit, an outside dining table, and a pool table inside, making it an ideal retreat for memorable experiences and the comforts of home.

Set in the heart of the historic village, Tremont Cottage was built in 1897 by Pinehurst founder James Walker Tufts. Renovations and upgrades seamlessly blend the charm of an original Tufts Cottage with the modern conveniences everyone desires. The Tremont was carefully prepared to make guests feel welcomed and enjoy all the comforts of home.

- A Rental Agreement is required to be signed per North Carolina Chapter 42A Vacation Rental Act.
- Two fireplaces on the first floor. One is inoperable and the other is an operable gas fireplace.

The home is well kept and stocked. The pool table, games, pool, fire pit, and grill are great to keep everyone in the family entertained! Proximity to the village with assorted shops and restaurants adds to the convenience of the property.

Amazing stay!

I can’t say enough about this place and Steve! It had everything and was close to everything! We were here for a big golf tournament and it was the best place for a couple players to relax. The kitchen and grill were perfect for meals at home! Beds and sheets were great! I highly recommend you stay here!

Great spot for a family!

Very comfortable and clean. Location was close and we took the Pinehurst shuttles from the Holly inn which was a 2 minute walk. Plenty of beds and rooms. Kitchen stocked with paper products/ trash bags/paper towels/spices and plenty of cooking and serving dishes. Laundry room stocked with detergent and dryer sheets even a first aid kit that came in handy. The pool table was fun and they had plenty of puzzles and board games. The pool and grill area was perfect and relaxing and pool towels were provided. Plenty of televisions with you tube tv and lots of streaming services. We would definitely stay again:)

Perfect!

We spent the weekend, for our son's wedding, in this absolutely perfect home! During our stay our friends, family, and guest enjoyed the pool, the pool table, and the warm inviting comforts of this fabulous home. The location was just right for our wedding venue and allowed us to walk to almost anything on our schedule. The owner was amazing in his attention to every detail. His wonderful hospitality to our entire group made our stay even more special. We will definitely stay here again! Just perfect!

Extremely Pleased!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property & could not have been more pleased. I have to say honestly it exceeded our expectations. It was spotlessly clean, well appointed and the location couldn't be beat within a 5 minute walk to town. It was large & the rooms were very comfortable for all of us & there was plenty of entertainment & relaxing areas inside & out. The kitchen was awesome & well stocked. The pool table was definitely alot of fun & we spent plenty of time shooting some games. We really loved the outdoor spaces too that included a beautiful & tranquil pool, patio with a grill & fire pit. We utilized everything & loved spending time in the pool & relaxing next to it as well. The backyard area is very private with all the beautiful trees & plants & quiet even though there are houses around it. The guys enjoyed golfing with all the course nearby & came back to enjoy all the amenities at the house. I highly recommend staying here & we can't wait to return! It's perfect for a larger group (we had 7 adults & 2 children) or even just 4 or 5.

overall wonderful experience. Everything in the house was exactly as listed. Lovely pool area and sitting area outside. The kitchen was well appointed and able to easily cook several meals. Host was extremely responsive. Overall just a perfect little getaway in the Pinehurst area!

What a great property! Super location just a few minutes walk from The Holly Inn, Dugan's Pub, Drum and Quill and all that the Village has to offer. Thoroughly enjoyed the house, pool, and pool table, and Paul was great to work with.

Perfect House in Perfect Location

We loved spending Easter weekend here! The house is beautiful and has everything you could need. The grill, fire pit and pool are wonderful and you can easily walk to anything you would need in the village or to the resort. Highly recommend!
