"I loved how friendly everyone was not just staff but in general. My only complaint would be the amount of times we would be outside on our balcony and all you could smell was marijuna. So we would have to go back inside. One morning it was all you could smell on the floor when walking to elevator. Other than that I give it 5 stars."

"My family & I will forever treasure the memories we made at Founders Manor! Ocean Isle has always been a special place for my family, I grew up visiting the island frequently. This was the first time we had been able to get the family together for a trip like this in many years. My grandparents are getting older and it may have been our last chance to do a trip like this with them, so it was incredibly special to be able to spend it in this historical house. The house is beautiful and has plenty of space. The location is just incredible and the views are such a treat. The dogs had the time of their lives zooming up and down the yard and I was glad they were allowed to join us. The house was also very clean and I appreciated that many things were provided and not something we had to think about (linens, etc). Marnie is an excellent host. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!"
