"Sorry Red Lion It’s not as clean as you’d like to think - see pics , chair leg is broken so could only sit on bed But Bed linen fresh, towels pure white, room smells fresh (apart from people smoking in pub garden, but that’s not your fault) Slept ok but room could do with makeover, update and consider how to use the space more efficiently "

"The welcome was shocking, the arrival time was wrong. Did not receive the entry code by email the day before. The stairs very steep. Very dusty in bathroom. The shower only had very hot water. The window sill had traffic grit in the corners, window were streaked. Uneven floor, luckily we did not fall, but nearly did. If I had known I would not have booked. "The cottage was lovely, clean and spacious, well equipped. Beautiful location with great views, quiet and seems remote but convenient short drive to shops."

"Excellent room & facilities. We stayed in the Cotton Mill room, with an amazing copper bath & walk in shower. NYE Dinner was fantastic, and a great breakfast the next morning topped off our stay. A truly lovely, relaxed atmosphere "
