"The view & location of the property is fantastic, and the breakfast is very good. However the actual room was very disappointing. Old furniture; crowded space; no wardrobe hangers; mould in bathroom & not great shower. TV would not work, even asking for help with it. Overall there are better places to stay, though the view is fantastic. It was okay for a few nights for the convenience, and staff were very helpful; but this place relies on its restaurant and the wonderful views, not the actual rooms!"

"Fantastic property, in a brilliant location, with the most amazing view. Being a short walk away from the old town and cable car is incredible. The staff were all very helpful, and breakfast was great too. Would 100% return!"

"Actually a great location...a walk to the Old Town, and also easy to get to other areas and beaches. Easy uber pick-ups too! The unit was spacious and well equipped with a washing machine, fridge, kitchen and a private courtyard - handy for drying clothes, and sunset beers. There's also a bigger communal area upstairs for hanging out, which was nice. I found both the bed and the couch to be a bit hard. Excellent aircon! Would stay here again!"

"My husband and I stayed at Heritage Hotel Lucia for 2 nights in July 2026. Where do I start... The location was perfect - a very short walk to Pile Gate, but away from all the cruise ship crowds - looking out onto Fort Lovrijenac. The staff genuinely went above and beyond, and the airport transfer was easy and very reasonably priced (the car was literally parked right outside the terminal doors). WIFI was easy with no issues. Breakfast (included) was next level. Fresh pastries and a charcuterie board were on the table before we'd even ordered. Everything is made to order - the french toast and avocado on sourdough were incredible. The fruit platter was so fresh and the salmon rosti was divine. The hotel is absolutely stunning. The finishes and all of the details with the rennovation are quality. Friends told us to stay inside the Old Town walls (as it was our first time in Dubrovnik), but we wanted to be away from the crowds (cruise ship crowds come in around 9/10am until late). We booked Hotel Lucia as it was so close to Old Town but not on top of the crowds. We are so glad we did. It has that personal, boutique feel but with proper 5 star luxury. Another drawcard is Sesame Restaurant - just across the road! If Hotel Lucia has availability for your dates (and works for your budget), don't overthink it. An absolute hidden gem. Being outside the walls isn't even a thought given how close it is. Thank you Hotel Lucia for such a great stay!!!"

"Great stay in Dubrovnik! Easy check in, the room was very clean, and the host responded quickly to any quesitons we had. Although not a staffed hotel, soap, towels, clothes iron, nespresso machine were all provided. Awesome location with a 5 minute walk to Old Town Pile gate and entrance of Fort Lovrjenac, less than that to bus stops to take you all over town. The entrance is on a secluded side street, so doesn’t feel as hectic as the streets of old town. Would definitely stay again."
