"Great price-value ratio"

"Hotel Ucliva is a charming property with hosts Dorothy and Bernard, who went out of their way to be helpful. On our way to the hotel, we ended up getting off at an incorrect train station in the middle of nowhere. Dorothy and Bernard responded to our call for help by coming down within 15 min (on their day off) to pick us up. The hotel itself is beautiful. Our room had a balcony overlooking the mountains (see attached pictures), and the breakfast, with a selection of local cheeses, jams and...

"Great place to visit the Swiss Alps in the Laax community. Location and view is spectacular!"

"It was great! But there was no microwave so it would be nicer if there is one!"

"Super helpful staff, Changed rooms to a better view. Great pool for kids and adults alike. Simple room but with a little dining area with a view. Perfect for what we wanted."

"Unser Aufenthalt war hervorragend vom Zimmer bis zum Essen, einfach alles."

"The hotel was conveniently located, although its design seemed more geared toward a younger, social media-oriented crowd. I particularly liked that it was part of a shopping complex, with a Coop supermarket conveniently located in the basement."

"This hotel surpassed all expectations. The Mountain View room took our breath away and the entire hotel was spotless, yet cosy, and every little detail had been thought of. But none of this compares to the standard of every single staff member we met. Everybody was so friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much bother. Exceptional service."

"Insgesamt schöne Unterkunft, leider war der Frühstücksraum sehr ungepflegt, klebriger Boden und überall Brotkrümmel auf den Stählen und Boden. Das war irgendwie ungemütlich."

"Great place almost completely renovated. It’s gonna be even nicer when it’s done. Good location and nice staff. Thank you!"

"Fantastisk lägenhet med all utrustning man kan behöva. Hjälpsam personal som tipsade om allt man kunde göra i byn. Lyxigt med färskt bröd vid dörren på beställning."

"The hotel is up a single lane, switchback road, which makes it very nice view, but don't bring a trailer. Wifi only works in the dining room. Breakfast was at 8 which is quite late for many travelers who want to get on with their Day.. Limited menu in the dining room, but the alternative is a 20 minute drive to Disentis. Very nice stay, staff was pleasant. The view of the town across the valley is like a postcard"

"Sehr freundlicher Hotelleiter. Einfache, saubere Zimmer mit allem vorhanden, was nötig ist. Hervorragendes Frühstück; dabei ist der Kaffee besonders hervorzuheben. Mittag- oder Nachtessen kann nicht beurteilt werden, da nicht eingenommen. Umgebung in den Bergen hervorragend. Ruhige Lage, trotz Strassenanbindung - wenig Verkehr, guter Schallschutz (Fenster)."

"Restaurants not at the quality level it should be."
