Village has bar, restaurant and shop and more facilities are in next village 4 km away. Good base to explore the Var region and less than 1.5 hours from Nice."

"La Bastide is a great Provençal hotel in an amazing and quiet area. The place is surrounded by trees, vineyard, a farm and piece of arts. Next to the Bastide, 10/15 mn by walk, you have the winery the Commanderie de Peyrassol. The vineyard is stunning. Within the vineyard, you have two restaurants, check Jeanette a gastronomy restaurant with great food and the Bistrou Lou for more casual food. Both restaurants are great and in a great location. The wine tasting tour is not to miss. Every Wednesday or Thursday during summer you have a concert/ music show at the vineyard. We had one called tribute to Amy Winehouse. Very good. The bedroom at the Bastide was big and quiet. The furniture are great, you really feel the Provençal vibes. The breakfast is delicious with Provençal and local produces. The staff is nice and friendly, I just wish they had a better organisation for the shuttle at night between the Commanderie and the Bastide ROUVIERE. It is not so well organised and reliable. Overall, I had an amazing stay, I really enjoyed every moment in the Bastide ROUVIERE and the Commanderie de Peyrassol. I will be back and encourage everyone to stay there at least minimum two nights to really enjoy the place and restaurants. "

"This is a unique and special place. A little pricey, but worth it. This is a manor house built in 1795, with a wine cellar, and an indoor swimming pool also in the cellar. Just beautiful. We stayed on the top floor, with a round water bed, and skylights that look up to the stars. There is also an outdoor wooden infinity swimming pool with a jacuzzi corner. It's just an amazing feeling to be in a wooden swimming pool. Lovely breakfast. Wish we had been able to stay 2-3 days."
