Wonderful property and great location

We really enjoyed this cabin!! The hot tub was great, the furniture was comfortable, the location was awesome. My only con was the creaking roof - a small inconvenience at my toddler's naptime but we had a sound machine that helped tune it out. One tiny con with tons of perks, this place is 5 stars!

Came down for the 2024 Jeep Invasion and this Cabin was great. Knowing we had such a nice place to unwind after being around the huge Jeep crowds was outstanding. Very clean, secluded and so close to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg was great! Highly recommended and will return for sure!

We loved this little cabin for our two night stay in Gatlinburg. It was close to Dollywood but still felt quiet and tucked away. It was quaint but so clean, comfy beds and great amenities like a pool table, arcade, and hot tub. I’d stay again for sure, but it’s worth noting that the oaks above the home drop acorns at all hours of the day and night in the fall and are quite loud if you’re a light sleeper. We also had a resident bear in the yard and on our porch , which we loved, but for anyone staying just be aware especially if you have young children. Great cabin for a fair price for sure.

We stayed here for my son’s wedding and we had the most wonderful experience. Everything was clean and ready for us, because we were coming in from California we really appreciated that.

The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was great but the cabin was located next to the entrance which made for a lot of traffic/noise. Outside needed a lot of attention.

Loved everything about our visit to Sherwood Forest Resort: Bear Climbing Getaway. The cabin is beautiful. The parking is very nice. You do not have to climb a lot of steep stairs and can easily access the entrance when loading and unloading your vehicle. We liked it so much we plan on returning and requesting this cabin. We love Vacasa and this property. Thank you so much for such a pleasant stay!

The cabin was good, but there was no A/C when we got there. It was 85 degrees in the cabin. The HVAC unit was frozen and we got the maintenance guy to come out the second day to at least put in an air conditioner window unit.

This was a perfect place for us. The rooms , kitchen, outdoor space was exactly what we needed. No much of a view at the bottom of the hill, that’s why I wanted to switch cabins 3 weeks before and was denied??? Anyhow, it’s was still a great cabin and only 2 cockroaches were spotted 👀

Although the cabin was nice, the mattress on the main level was extremely uncomfortable and old. And both bathrooms had one hand towel, but plenty of other towels. The upstairs shower dripped constantly. The cabin was nice and spacious, but needs a little maintenance tweaking.

10/10

The cabin was clean, except the hot tub had a musty smell, and the water was not clean. A little bleach should clean that up. The BBQ did not lite, and we bought a long-style lighter that worked great to start the BBQ. Otherwise, we enjoyed the cabin with the view of the Mountain.

Great location, accessibility was a breeze. House was clean other than sheets on one bed weren't clean. We washed them first night so not a huge deal but dryer was pretty weak so doing laundry required a lot of time to dry. Wifi was good and water temp was plenty hot. Pressure in the showers wasn't super great but still functional. Beds were comfortable and HVAC system did a good job of heating and cooling (weather fluctuated quite a bit during our stay so we needed heat and AC).

Place was nice. One down fall was the roaches that were everywhere in every room. Very disappointing to pay that much much and to have to deal with that. In the downstairs bathroom the stopper didn’t work to take a bath. If you look at the top beam of the house upstairs it looks like mold is going all the way across. We did though see lots of bears throughout the stay which was nice.

6/10

As a home inspector and arrival proved interesting. The steps from the parking to cabin were not level and there was no graspable hand rail for safety. The tilt of the steps made it hard to climb or walk down. The cabin across from us had a septic alarm going off on arrival and it was so loud we could hear it in our cabin. Called vacasa which manages the cabin and they said someone would take care of it. Got to listen to it all night then had to call and complain again the next day. Finally it was handled. The place was decently cleaned but had some noticeable spots that were not cleaned well. The dish soap dispenser in the kitchen, the HVAC grate and filter were nasty and the outdoor grill was filthy, and the refrigerator water dispenser catch was moldy at the separation. The TV cable box in the main floor bedroom didn't operate. The. Second level bed was worn horrible and had a bad sag in the center of the bed leading to a poor sleep. Positives the fire places were the highlight of the trip along with the Jacuzzi. This was a short stay had I had a longer stay I would have been very upset and made several complaints. This is really the off season for cabins and it's a great time for them to update, deep clean, and repair worn out stuff.

Very disappointed. Home was beautiful, but the cleanliness was less than to be desired. Dirty cookie sheet and silverware. Less than half a roll of toilet paper and no more supplied. A half used bottle of shampoo and not even a small hand soap to get us through till the next morning. Had to go to Walgreens at 9 at night to get what we needed to wash our hands and bathe.
