Spacious 11 Bdrm Lodge on edge of Clearwater Ntl Forest

"We held our family reunion at this property. There was so much to do on site, at the lodge and with surrounding property. The children loved it. So did the adults. It was delightful to meet the owners and prepare for our family reunion. They were helpful and easy to communicate with. We had a water day on the Clearwater River at the lovely Smith Creek Beach and it was so much fun. We had life jackets for everyone and enjoyed a short float, playing in the sand, and bbqing hotdogs. There is a fishing pond on property with paddleboats and small kayaks. This was a popular draw for the children. There is also a zipline and equipment for all kinds of outdoor ball games. We held a successful reunion and made incredible memories."

"Aside from not having drawers / closet for clothes (ie, replace the upstairs gun cabinet with an armoir!), everything about this property was 5 stars, especially the host who was very flexible with my multiple "change-ups" regarding lodging days! Everything worked and there was abundant stuff from which to enjoy the cabin experience, especially easy-to-split firewood that I used for the indoor wood stove and the outdoor fire ring! Though the property is right off a major logging road, I never was bothered by logging traffic noise, as the loggers seemed to stop working by 9 pm like me! If the opportunity presents itself, I will most definitely contact the host and rent this property again! FIVE STARS ALL AROUND!"

"The Cabin at Cardiff Spur is an exceptional getaway that was great for our family due to both its pet-friendly setup and its mountain location near family. The property offers a peaceful setback from the highway with room for the kids and dog to play. The house is well stocked with items for living (cooking supplies, extras garbage bags, plates, utensils, etc.). Would recommend to others."
