"So, I will start by saying that previous reviews were 100% correct- Junior is amazing! There was quite a lineup for check-in when I arrived, however, upon being greeted by Junior I suddenly didn't mind the wait! The Hotel was lovely! The entrance/lobby was really nice! It was open, clean and inviting! The bar/lounge area was also quite comfortable! We had a drink from the lounge one night when we came back to the hotel....it was delicious! The man that served us (sorry but I can't remember his name - originally from Bangladesh) was so very nice. We had a great chat, he was very welcoming and made a great cocktail recommendation! The room was very nice. We stayed in a king bed room with a view. It was not huge but certainly big enough. The bathroom door was a slider door and didn't close tight. This was not a big deal for us but might be for some. The furniture and fixtures were all brand new and the room was freshly painted. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we got a very good night's sleep. The housekeeping was also excellent. Our room was cleaned daily and was always done before we got back for an afternoon break. The location of the hotel was great. It is in a very busy area, but we wanted to stay near Times Square so we knew going there that it would be busy! It was a 2-3 minute walk to Times Square, lots of restaurants, liquor stores and Broadway shows. There was also a Walgreens right next door! Would I return? Absolutely!"

"So so happy with our hotel choice. The room we booked was a suite so there was a separate bedroom and then pullout couch, the kitchenette offered plenty of space and there was ample seating in the room as well. Perfect for downtime between outings and activities. The laundry room was a lifesaver, too! We booked a room with a “city view“ and truly, although it was a little bit obstructed by Construction, we could see part of the Manhattan skyline at night, and it was beautiful. The location was convenient, walkable to cute coffee shops in the morning and also the light rail and the path station were very close. The staff was friendly and helpful, there was not any point Where we felt unsafe, noise was not an issue, and everything in the room was in proper working order, clean, zero complaints. Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend. For what it’s worth, we did not rent a car so we did not have any experience with the parking situation."

"It was a GREAT stay. The location is wonderful, and compared to other hotels in NYC, very affordable. The room was just fine, enough space for me and my 2 late teen kids - my son and I slept in 1 bed, daughter in the other. Decent neighborhood, clean enough in the hotel, air conditioner worked fine. The bathroom was actually quite nice, great shower! If you're looking for a place to sleep at night after tromping around the city all day that doesn't break the bank - THIS IS IT! If you want more than that out of your hotel room in NYC you'll need to go elsewhere and spend more money. The staff was great, not very present, but also not in the way- and happy to help. The small refrigerator was constantly dripping with condensation - which was a drag. Overall the perfect place for us :-) I recommend it if you want a deal, can handle an older style room and will spend most of your time out and about."
