Great stay, but reservation issues
The stay was wonderful, however, the manager had no record of the reservation because they are not currently using Hotels.com. Luckily, there was a last minute cancellation and they could accommodate us. The manager has been trying to take their listing down from Hotels.com.

the property was not as shown. we were given a different apartment, in quite poor condition, with many stairs, and inadequate cooling . do NOT recommend this property manager - he owns several properties and apparently uses them interchangeably

Very clean, comfortable and well upgraded. People on second floor decided to move furniture around at 9:30 p.m. Lasted 1/2 and was loud. Apart from that very nice place and friendly neighbourhood.

Great place to stay while visitIng Cape Briton.
We absolutely loved this very large “bachelor” apartment. We stayed here at mid vacation and were very happy to have a washer and dryer. We really wanted to stay another day but were locked in to a schedule. The people of Pictou were the friendliest we met in our travels.

Lovely room
It was a lovely location. The room was beautiful, spacious, & newly renovated. The only downside was trying to check in...we were sent to different properties before being able to check in and pick up the key. Once we were able to locate the main office it was fine. I just wish instruction and addtess for the check in were posted.

Wonderful room, weird check-in.
We spent one night en route back to Halifax from a stay in Ingonish. The property is wonderful - huge room, beautifully redone, clean, excellent amenities. Check in was weird. The building is NOT where you check in. Expedia said nothing about this and the phone number on the building didn't work. They also listed a website, but it was down. Finally we talked to a local lady and she told us the property is owned by Dolan's, who has other inns and a motel in town. We drove to the motel, and they checked us in. Met the owner later, who also runs Fat Tony's pub. Very nice guy. We ended up having a nice time - just be aware of the check-in issue.

This is a great room - we stayed for only one night but would have enjoyed this room for a week or more. Quiet, great location, and done up well!

Quick stay on route but wished we had more time.
We were on route to drop our son at university but found this hotel to be charming and wished we had more time there. Will definitely look to stay again and longer next time we're over this way. The town was quiet but had all we needed and the setting was beautiful.
