"We were surprised with how close this was from the Interislander baggage claim, got there in about 3mins. This was great news because our ferry was delayed due to the awful weather on the Strait. The owner was there at reception well after 9pm to let us in. The owners were also very helpful, told us where to get supplies from and even let us leave our bag at reception while we went into town. On that note, it's also very close to town too, just a stones throw. "

"This is a small old-style motel that has the basics plus a self-serve laundry room. It’s several blocks from the ferry and bus stations, It was clean and quiet the night we stayed there."

"The gentleman running Sequoia is quite nice. The room was comfortable (we had a private ensuite, note that hand soap is not provided). The kitchen is well equipped with lots of seating. We weren’t able to sit outside to eat our breakfast as there were a number of chain smokers sitting at the outside kitchen table. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again"

"Fantastic apartment with an incredible view! We wished we were staying longer. Check in and out very easy. We chose the apartment because it was convenient for our early morning Interislander Ferry, but it would have been a great base for a lot longer stay. We were able to do some wine tasting in Blenheim. "
