"Made a reservation for 2 nights for my dad. I called them around 9pm to let them know that he will be late for check in and won’t get there until midnight. The staff I spoke to on the phone was very rude and was telling me I need to update my card because there wasn’t enough money on it even though I clicked pay in property. Since he said “if the card doesn’t work, it’s just a piece of plastic” I transferred the whole amount to that card and also told them my dad would be paying with his card when he gets there after midnight. I updated the payment method around 9:45 and at 10:08 I get a message saying the reservation was canceled. I called the property again and a woman picked up and told me Expedia canceled it. I contacted Expedia, and they told me the reservation still shows it’s active and I sent them a screenshot of the email I got from the hotel. They told me I won’t be charged for and tried contacting the hotel for me but no one picked up."

"This was a beautiful, well-appointed, and comfortable large log cabin that provided plenty of room for a large family. Our host was very responsive as we had a number of questions with a snowstorm that occurred during our stay. Jonathan answered our many questions very quickly and helped us thoroughly enjoy being snowed in a couple of days. The house was beautiful and as described with accurate photos. The gas logs kept the home toasty during temperatures in the teens. The internet was fast and flawless and cellular service was good. Not far from Pickens which has anything needed. We hope to return to this cabin soon."
