"Lovely lake front room to walk down from our balcony into the lake. The staff were very helpful with all our questions we had. Hired kayaks for the day from the hotel and restaurant served great food. Was a very pleasant stay and would stay there again."

"Very nice brand new hotel (opened 2 months ago). Room was spacious and had a fully stocked kitchen and dishwasher. Bathroom was modern with many cool amenities like a color changing light over the shower. Bed was comfortable. Location is good. Right at the edge of the village. Supermarket and laundry nearby. Perfect spot for hikers needing a rest."

Lovely holiday home at Lake Orta with private garden and pool

"We were looking for a relaxing base from which to explore the Lake Orta region. Ilaria’s place was perfect for our needs! It was spotlessly clean and private (just a single neighbour next door but not directly overlooked), and had all the amenities needed for our family break. The views from the outside patio of the house are lovely and the pool was a welcome addition for hot afternoons spent relaxing at the house. Ilaria was an excellent host. Communication and pre-arrival support was second-to-none and she was present for check-in to help us settle in. It is a short walk from the house into the beautiful Vacciago village where there is a lovely small store for essentials. There are several supermarkets about a 10 minute drive away in Gozzano. Vacciago is a pretty village. There are walking trails from the door and the Foundazione Calderara art gallery is worth a visit. We walked, down through the pretty village of Corconio, to the free public beach at Spaggia Miami to swim in the lake, as well as driving down and spending a day at the private beach club there. We drove into the stunning Orta San Giulio on several mornings and evenings, parking at Via Panoramic. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful town, walked the lakeside path, visited the Sacro Monte di Orta, took the boat to Isola San Giulio and enjoyed drinks and meals in various restaurants and bars. We drove round the lake to visit Omegna and Pella and also drove to Stresa on Lake Maggiore one evening. Perfect!"

"Property is a little bit older but they are making upgrades. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Our bathroom had been upgraded and had lots of room…wasn’t your typical tiny European bathroom! Breakfast in the morning was amazing. Would stay here again."

"If I could give Villa Crespi 20 stars, I would! 🌟 We have stayed at many beautiful hotels, but Villa Crespi has completely redefined hospitality for us. We left feeling genuinely cared for—and perhaps a little spoiled for every hotel that comes after! From arrival, every detail was effortless. We were welcomed with cold water, the staff arranged our anniversary dinner, drove us there, escorted us inside to explain that we were their guests and mention my dietary restrictions, then returned to pick us up. The next morning, the staff surprised me with freshly prepared gluten-free breads, cream-filled croissants and chocolate torte. Knowing we had a boat trip planned, they created an extraordinary picnic for us: beautifully prepared sandwiches, snacks, chilled sparkling water, champagne on ice with glasses, fresh towels, and even tea-tree-infused refreshing towels for after swimming. They drove us to and from the boat as well. Our room was magnificent, with an extraordinary view, a comfortable bed and every amenity imaginable. Even our departure was thoughtful: cold waters waiting inside of the car, and we were given gifts from their kitchen to take home. This is what true 5 star hospitality means: not just luxury, but anticipating a guest’s needs before they ask. We were so moved by the warmth and thoughtfulness of the entire staff that that I left handwritten thank-you notes—something I have never done before. This was more than a hotel stay- it was an experience. 🌟"
