The people who run it are just as amazing!! They are so nice and very helpful. They set up our transportation to and from Milan and were always there to answer any questions. "Lovely little property 10 minute walk from Bellagio centre. Has all you need as somewhere to rest when exploring Lake Como. As mentioned in other reviews it was a bit damp with evident problems in the past with mould but over wise lovely and don’t let that put you off. Comfy bed and very clean apartment. "

"Really good location as it’s a 5 min walk from the train station also very close to the ferry. The room is on the smaller side but that’s expected in Varenna. The gentlemen at the reception was very helpful and they were able to accommodate for late check-in. I would recommend this spot and for the location and the value."

"We loved our stay at the Hotel Spendide Royal! It’s absolutely gorgeous hotel and the feeling of being there is very special. The staff were all top notch and showed care and a commitment to making you feel comfortable and happy. The breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of variety and options. We will definitely come back and can’t recommend it enough."
