"Really good location as it’s a 5 min walk from the train station also very close to the ferry. The room is on the smaller side but that’s expected in Varenna. The gentlemen at the reception was very helpful and they were able to accommodate for late check-in. I would recommend this spot and for the location and the value."

"Despite the rain, we had a fantastic two-night stay at Hotel Sassa. The service was excellent, the views were stunning even in bad weather, and the spa was a perfect escape. The breakfast was super. A great spot for a relaxing couples’ getaway. "

"I never write reviews but the staff was so amazing and helpful from the moment we walked in to our check out that I just had to write this review. I got my check out time confused and they were so nice about it, didn’t give me a hard time. They were even worry about us having breakfast or eating something before check out, the place is very clean and nice I would definitely return here if I come back to Italy. 10/10"
