"We had a lovely stay in this accommodation, the place was very clean, quiet and well equipped. The facilities (swimming pool, tennis, etc.) are simply great. Nicola was a super host, instructions for check-in/out were clear, and our questions were always answered fast. We would love to be back!"

"This property checks all the boxes for a great trip to Varenna and to explore Lake Como. It is in an ideal location, central to restaurants and shopping and close to the ferry docks. It was incredibly clean and well appointed with nice details, like coffee and basic herbs and spices and plenty of other amenities to make the stay comfortable. We spent hours sitting in the loft, taking in the view as well as exploring the town and other towns in the Lake Como are. Communication with the hosts...

"The property was very nice and the check in process was easy. It would be good to have a car because Uber and car share services do not work in Varenna. The taxi service is a little sporadic and expensive. The train station is a long walk as is town. The view was great with plenty of space. I would rent here again but only if i had a car"

"Loved it and can’t wait to return! The view is gorgeous—amazing sunsets and, in the morning, Varenna is lit up by the sun. The patio is also right next to an old waterfall/fountain ruin type of thing that is lit up at night and it’s stunning. The inside of the apartment is also fantastic and we loved the very large bathtub and the rain shower heads. A few things to know—it IS the penthouse so there are quite a bit of outside stairs to get to the apartment. It wasn’t really a problem for us but...

"I loved staying in this property. It was located close enough to Castione della Presolana, where my kids' camp was. The broader area, including Lago d'Iseo about 40 min away is very nice if you want to explore the Orobie Alps. The property is well kept and Antonio, the host, is very friendly and always ready to help you with any problems."

"This is a beautiful house and stay -- my only advice to be very exact about *which city and plaza* you meet the property manager at, as we had the wrong Santa Maria plaza entirely! Other than that, a truly magical building, waterfall, and stay."

You’re in one of the apartments of the palazzo, the host lives on site as well, and one half of the palazzo is used as an b&b, private use of the huge garden. "Valentina was friendly and helpful throughout. Lovely apartment, terrace and pool area just on the outskirts of the town meant a peaceful relaxing stay. Colico is less touristy at the northern end of the lake but still beautiful and ideal for exploring."

"Property turned out exactly as advertised. Very pleasant stay for my wife and I who wanted to be away from the crowds for a weekend and relax. We did a lot of walking to get around Bellagio and fortunately had good weather. Very comfortable place with mostly all the items you need to get by. Owner was great and very responsive to our needs."

"The stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. Most descriptions were adequate and we found what we expected. Some problems with the water supply were promptly repaired after we informed the owner (Thanks to him - overcoming some language barriers!). The only aspect which was less ideal was the description of the way to get there. The description could be improved as we arrived late in the dark and therefore pathfinding was a bit confusing. It should be mentioned that the streets are not paved at...
